I know I was suppose to update this blog on a monthly basis, but I was thinking it is just going to be the same update . It’s just me really perfecting that one product on clickbank and tweaking the sales page

Can’t believe its been 6 months already wow time flies! Although my coaching with him was only for 4 months plus( I took a break   in between .. my job as an auditor work get me really busy at times!

But yes 6 months later and here I am now. Late April I finally  ”perfected” my product and sales page. Starting May I could see a significant increase in sales All I did was add a sales video to my sales page and I could see the dramatic increase in conversions!

I’m currently looking to increase my value per customer by creating more backend offers!

Currently my ebook sells at $37 on clickbank with no upsells ..YET!

Affiliate commissions are at 75% and I actually have 2 affiliates promoting me,  if you look at my clickbank  earnings screenshot above you’ll see the $8  sales those are actually sales made by affiliates

Overall I learnt a lot from Sean, I feel it is actually very easy to create my own products. This by the way is a niche that I couldn’t care less about and nor do I ever want to be bothered to learn more about And if I could come up with a great sales page and ebook for this.. I can do ANYTHING!

Ever since I started my coaching with Sean and started blogging about it, I do get people emailing me with lotsa of questions.  So let me address all the Questions here ( you will never find this anywhere else!)

1. How much am I making?

At the time of writing this , I’ve made 3 sales , not even $100 I think ( and Im not going to focus on this product for now) I’m pretty confident about my next product

2.How many hours do I spend doing this?

1 or 2 hours a day MAX ( remember I have a 9 to 5 job), I do have a life too you know , I hangout with friends, go for drinks and stuff but on weekends I spend more hours on the pc, I spend hours online I watch videos, listen to music and do this at the same time, so I  cant really give you exactly how many hours a day. But it safe to say an hour to 2 hours a day on average

3. Is 3o minute per week skype calls enough?

YES more than ENOUGH! In fact the emails alone do the trick! Sean is very professional when it comes to replying emails and personally I prefer emails rather than calls because I could read his email again and again when I need to.

4. How much Money am I spending on top of the Coaching fees?

1 .Hosting (I already have a 3 year hosting plan with hostgator) but if your starting out, its  $0.01 for the first month and then $10/ month for a baby plan ( unlimited domains!)

2. Domain name- Buy it from Namecheap.com at about $10/ domain

3. Graphics – I just go to the WarriorForum and spend about $60 ish for a nice header and Ecover graphics

4.Pay Per Click- So far i’ve only spend about $28 on PPC and other advertisng methods that didn’t  get me any sales

5. Listing your product on clickbank at $50 one time

Things To Consider.

#1 Technical know how required?

NO. You can be a complete idiot when it comes to “PC stuff” and still make it with this coaching program. Installing professional looking websites takes just minutes now with “WordPress” you dont need to touch any HTML or CSS codes, everything is just click and install. Very easy. I have even made a few videos here on my site on how to install wordpress. Today Internet marketing has become so much easier than it was once upon a time so don’t even worry about the technical stuff.

#2 Time

Ask yourself could you spend an hour or 2 a day to do this?If yes ! thats awesome. The more time the better obviously but an hour a day at least just for this is good enough. I sincerely believe that even if you have a full time job, you could definitely do this ( I’m living proof )

#3 Money

Yes you will need money, the more the better obviously, but exactly how much? Well just keep $2000 aside on top of the coaching fees and I think that is more than enough for a heck lot of things. You could potentially make that money back pretty quick once your product takes off Currently I’m working on my second product and Im running on less than $1000 budget (this include graphics, domain name, SEO and product development), so let’s see how that goes I’m confident I can make that money back despite the rather small budget.

My Personal Advice

Just take action and stay commited! that is all.  Sean’s coaching program is not some push button guru stuff and that is why its so powerful. You create your own products and keep all the money( in this case 92.5% of selling price minus $1 transaction fee when using Clickbank) and later if your product sells well, you’ll probably get affiliates working for you ! That to me is just awesome!

Ok if any of you have been following my coaching journals, I was already moving on to the next product ( 2nd product is actually completed and pending for Clickbank review as I’m writing this), I was shocked to find that I actually made 3 sales  with my clickbank product, i was already prepared to abandoned it thinking that maybe I was wrong picking that niche but wow ! Boy was I surprised!, (I have not logged in to this clickbank account for weeks!)

Currently though , i think my 2nd product has more potential ( easier competition too!) So I’ll focus on my second clickbank product for now  and get back to this one later

I was suppose to update this post , i have finally listed my product on clickbank. I did some minor advertising and well no sales. And Im just starting to  think that this niche is abit hard to penetrate. ( I picked a niche that was although high in demand, it was mostly popular in Asia) and not the american market. So I think that was the problem here. (UPDATE: I still think this niche has a huge potential, one competitor on clickbank is doing pretty damn good)  but it will take abit more work to get sales , a bit more marketing especially on this somewhat competitive niche, I’ll get back to this niche abit later.( currently working on a smaller competition niche on a market that Sean recommended from the very beginning of coaching and I’m feeling pretty confident it will work!

Sean insisted from the very beginning to try another niche but I just wanted to give my earlier niche a shot.

As you all may have followed my posts on The Warrior forum. I was approached by an affiliate that had proposed to me a rather appealing offer . he wanted to be paid $10 for every sale he made via paypal on the day the sale was made. He told me he had  a few targeted niche sites and has a big lists of people  he gave me a lot of reasons why, saying that from countries like his cheques from clickbank get stolen etc etc.

We had a long conversation over emails and stuff. Initially i kept saying no, but then I just thought of giving it a shot.

I know it was fishy but I wanted to test and see for myself if was real and was only willing to pay up to 30 sales, and then will wait 60 days till payment. WELL GUYS ITS A SCAM. He did bring me roughly 30 sales i think and all the sales turnout to be fraudulent and my product was DElisted from clickbank market place ( working on getting it back on the marketplace) So yeah, if you do launch a cb product and was approached by scammy affiliates asking for payments in advance. no matter how trustworthy that person souns like, JUST DON’T.

For me it stings but it was a small price to pay and well the only person to blame was myself for believing in such stupid scam . You can call me a complete dumb idiotic moron, Im fine with that

5/2/2012 Update My Product is back up since early February and I was surprised to see I actually made 3 genuine sales take a look at the screenshot  My product sells at $37, after processing fees ‘ll get about $32.98

While i was busy working on my other product , I actually made 3 sales with my first product I didnt realise the sales were made until i decided to login to the other account! i was in shock and Happy   Cool feeling

Although i would like to focus on this niche, i think I’ll get back to it later , currently im working on a niche with tons of potential , a niche Sean recommended

MOVING ON

For now I’m sticking to establish niches that are proven to work Sean is now getting me into a market which he first recommended to me and we are working on a sub niche to get into in Tomorrow’s skype session. I’m getting excited and motivated back again but I do have some small personal doubts, but I believe its just a phase until I see the first sale made!

What I’ve learned in Month 2

Picking a good established niche is important when your starting, don’t try to penetrate a niche that “you think” might work for now when you just started.. The key is to get your first product making money in a proven niche.

Also target a niche that american & europeans in general will buy!

My next product would be out waaay faster than my previous which took me nearly 2 months!!! I previously tried to perfect my product too long only to realise that I couldnt even make  a single sale!! so yeah that is horrible!

My problem was I feel was me not really taking Sean’s advice from the start, and I wanted things to work my way. He gave me solid advice  for example the niche that i chose VS what he first adviced and also the fact that he told me not to linger on making the product perfect until sales were made which I took  a month plus to create.

Anyways will keep you guys updated and will post here once I get my first sale ( feeling very confident in this new niche)

Ok its been a month and 4 days since coaching started with Sean Morissy ( OK so i did not update it ona  weekly basis like i promised) I needed whatever time i could get my hands on, I do have a full time job

here are my updates

The niche

It took me about almost 2 weeks deciding on a niche, the niche I am targeting is a rather interesting niche ( sorry i can’t reveal it) and there is not many competition for this on clickbank. Its  a big industry but only in certain parts of the world I’m not sure how well it would do, but well I’m just giving it a shot!

the Ebook itself

This one took me sometime,( I am still not finished with it)  I had to find materials on this niche which is although rather easy to find, its hard to piece it all together.. well at least for me. Sean told me to just be quick with this part, the main goal now is to actually test the niche, if people are buying then.. ill make a super awesome version 2.0 of my existing product

The graphics for my website and product

Hired a graphic designer from the warrior forum to create the header and the Ecover graphcs. Spent a week back and forth with designer for the exact graphics I want. I kinda like the graphics Total cost $70

The sales Page and the website itself

Took me awhile to find a a good wordpress sales page and just playing messing around with the features of the wordpress theme. Roughly a week ( and im still not done with it yet although i’d say its 80% completed)

Listing my product on ClickBank.com

Yes my sales page and site is ALMOST done but my product is not but I have already applied to list my product on Clickbank ( its pending for approval now)  Clickbank will take 3 to 5 days to approve or disapprove my product. So let’s see how it goes. You must be wondering how can I upload  a product that is not finished ? According to Sean, clickbank does’nt really check your product as long as its not in the Make Money Online Niche. They usually just check the sales page and the thank you page. Fingers crossed, I hope to get it approved! At the mean time, I’ll try to finish the ebook

Coaching With Sean has been good so far, He really makes me see the bigger picture in things, ( I have a tendency to spend way too much  on petty stuff) Now Im just trying to not worry over small petty things and just get things done FAST.. Ultimately Sean gave  me the confidence I need and I want to be honest although I was determined to work this out, i have a lot of doubts in me and questions like ” Will this work for me?”  ”Can I really Pull this off” “What if I am too late in this IM game?” Just so many negative thoughts playing in my head. But as the days go by, the more things I get done, the more I feel it can work out for me .

Anyways The REAL ACTION will begin once my product is successfully approved on Clickbank and me actually finishing the book. There will be alot of marketing involved after that. If the Ebook does not sell well, I’ll just move on to the next niche I have in mind, if the product is a success, ill keep improving the existing product and fortify my ebook in the online world as the go to ebook for that niche

WEEK 1

Ok guys this is my first week update on Sean Morissy’s 1 on 1  Coaching Program which lasts for 6 months.

How this coaching program works.

Sean will help me choose a niche and help me develope everything from the affiliate sites to the actual product itself on clickbank. Basically the goal is to create a digital product on clickbank as a vendor. It is definitely going to be a lot of hard work but im sure the pay off is much bigger than just being an affiliate.

In the course of 6 months we will get on skype on a weekly basis, in my case every monday and ill update him with my progress and we discuss on my next move.

At this moment , I’m still deciding on a niche to get started with, currently I have 2 niches in mind but I’ll need to do more research first before I actually decide on the niche and focus all my attention on that once niche to develop a solid product.

Wow its been along time since I’ve updated my Niche Website Challenge! ( almost 8 months!) I’m sorry!!!

The results!

Well I didnt make more than $400 ( all from Amazon) from those niche sites because I wasnt ranking very well.( i believe I would have made more IF i spend more time and money SEO-ing it( halfway during that time I found a way to make more money using Greyhat/blackhat stuff Since march and decided to focus my attention there. I will post my earnings screenshots soon

Sorry I’ve not updated this part of my Niche Website Challenge. I’ve been giving finishing touches to all my sites.

I have begun building backlinks to all 5 sites, using article marketing . And I will update my ranking as the days go by.

24th March Update-

MY FIRST SALE!! I made roughly $11 commissions with only 10 clicks on my affiliate link ( to date) from this one site. The rest of the site are slowly increasing its rank in the search engine. This particular site is ranking  page 1(bottom 5 spots),2 and 3 for my keywords.

What surprises me is that most of my sites are not even on the first page of Google and I’m getting traffic to my sites (although very small traffic)I can see the keywords people found my sites  using Google Analytics and I will start to optimize my pages for those keywords even more for more traffic.

At this moment of time , I have to be honest with my readers, I have only been focusing on 2 sites at the moment in terms of backlinking. I want to get these sites ranked ASAP because I see the potential already! But whatever it is I should begin SEO-ing my other sites to at least first page of Google. Since most are low to medium competition, it should be easier. Again ill keep everyone posted!

So what is this challenge about And Why Am I Doing This?

This is the very first post to my very first self challenge to create money making niche websites within a given span of time. This is to prove to myself that I can do it if i set my priorities and be very disciplined about it. The goal is to hit at least $1000/month for all this micro niche websites.  Below is why I started this challenge

I’ve been gone for quite sometime not updating this little site of mine, but Its because I’ve been busy learning new ways to make money online, specifically on CPA and physical product offers.

After going through tons of Ebooks and quality Video courses , I’ve decided that i would really want to start really make a full time income from Internet marketing. (Dead serious about  it) I’ve decided to challenge myself and make it happen!

I ‘ve been going trough quite a number of courses on how to really built a full time income online.  Courses like Google Sniper by George brown, Dan brock’s Dead Beat Super Affiliate and well tons more really and the one way to really built a full timeincome business is by creating many niche sites( No secret there)

So I’ve created this little progress journal specifically for this. It will serve as a motivation for me to keep track of my progress.

Here is my goal by end of the month of February 2011.

1) 5 Micro niche sites created( today is already the 5th, So i have to create on average 1 site in 4 days!) And each site is monetized by either clickbank, pysical product affiliate programs or any CPA offers. These sites are thin affiliate sites and not authority sites.

My strategy

1. I will find 5 different niches I want to promote and drill in deeper to get a micro niche ( at the time of writing this i already have 3 niches in mind)
2. I will then use Market Samurai to perform my research targeting low to medium competition keywords which I think I can tackle.
3. I will try to get Exact keyword matching domains for the keywords I got in Step 2 above and only take either .COM, .ORG or .NET domain name extensions.
4. I will then add about 8 pages (minimum) per site  and complete the (about, Contact, Privacy policy in each of those sites)
5. I will only begin SEO-ing/ Backlinking each site the moment it is completed

Expected cost Involved – Maximum cost

Each domain would cost about say $10  so thats 5 x10= $50 .

I may  want to outsource article creation at $8/ 400 word article so thats 8 actilces * $8 = $64/site* 5* $64 = $320 Total ( again this if incase I really want to outsource this)

Backlinking will depend on competition and since i have all the SEO tools I think i need I would say i will only spend about $100/site so that comes to about $500. But if I still dont rank as high I may end up spending more so again it depends.

Total Maximum cost $870 – As i mention I can probably save cost if i write my own articles, and at the same time I may end up spending more on SEO But we will see how it goes.

Exactly how much and When Do I expect to start earning from these Sites?

IdeallyI would like to earn $200/site every month(very pessimist earnings expectation here), so that will sum up to $1000/month for 5 of those sites and I expect at least 3 months before I start seeing earnings ( some people can see earnings within the first month, but I prefer to set a LOWER expectation)

My Thoughts on this.

It is very doable, but whether I earn or not is a whole different story, its a small risk to take In my opinion, and I don’t believe that none of the sites wont bring me money in the long run. Realistically speaking though some sites will be winners and some site wont even make a single dime but if at least one site can be a winner and bring in money, I could probably profit in the long run anyways.

I may want to do start building 5 micro niche sites/ month starting this month and repeat the process but I think I shall keep focus on  the 5 sites I created on February first and learn from those till i start earning before I become a super niche website churning machine

Lets not forget I’m also a college student pursuing a professional course and I am currently seeking a part time job for extra income and at the same time doing internet marketing. At this rate though i have been spending more time on internet marketing than anything else.

I will report my progress and update it here on a regular basis.

UPDATE 12Th february

Finally finish building my first micro niche site for this challenge, actually its about 80% done, I still need to add more content to the posts and the site is all set. The only thing now is traffic, but at this moment though I’m just rushing to complete 5 sites by end of the month but I will slowly begin SEO-ing those sites with free methods typically article marketing. After today I have 16 days to built another 4 more sites, thats an average of 1 site every 4 days. Currently I’m actually writing all the articles for my site myself to save some cost on outsourcing. Also I realise that I can actually fully complete a site within 2 days, about 6 hours plus total (including content creation). I have already done my niche research for the remaining 4 sites before I begun this challenge, using Market Samurai so i generally just need to built sites and gather content.

UPDATE 16th Feb

I’ve completed my second Niche website well about 60%, all is left is the articles. Again at this moment of time, I do not outsource  my articles, and ithink I will take more time today completing the articles for this site and the previous site.

UPDATE 20th Feb

So I’ve completed my 3rd site,(well not really) Everything is done except the articles, I’ve even created the posts with the respective titles but with no Content. I also Blocked my sites from being searched by the Search engine. At this moment of time I’m experimenting a few things with the WordPress Themes because Im trying to make it look as professional as I can. Content creation can be outsourced later on and I’ll systematically add them to my sites once the articles are ready. I am getting pumped up by the fact that I’m in track with things but the next few days however, I will be slightly busy with other things, I’ll do my best.

Update 26th February

So I have partially completed my 4th site, Sadly this time i was not able to complete it even 50%, partially due to the fact I’ve been busy with other matters and I have another 2 days to complete another site.  Currently I haven’t even begin promoting any of sites in terms of SEO. I think I should really just start to focus on building a site and properly SEO optimizing it rather than trying to mass build sites, but I’ll still stick to my goal of completing 5 sites by end of February. March would be the month for heavy SEO works.

Update 28th Feb

Im updating this on the 3rd of March because I was quite busy with a few things . Anyways 5th site created, but aside from all the post titles created, there is no actual content, the header is completed and thats it. I am going to take the first week of March to 100% completely finish all 5 sites!
